I started to compete in pageants at a young age when there was a small pageant at our annual local festival. I started at age 5 in the little miss division, and I never won, placed, or even got anything- I was way too shy. We moved to the town I now live in and my mom started 2 pageants called the Rochester Rocket pageant and the Olde Town Fall Festival pageant in 2013 because she knew that I loved these pageants, wanted to get more confident, and wanted to win just like my sister had a few years before in Pawnee. A bit after we moved, we got a letter in the mail about this National American Miss pageant, and I decided to do it. Since then, I won the 2015 Olde Town Fall Festival Jr. Princess, the 2018 Jr. Miss Rochester Rocket, had a pretty long streak of first runner up, and gotten in the top 10 for 4 years of the NAM pageant and top 5 last year. In a few days I will be competed in NAM Illinois, hoping for the title of the 2018 National American Miss Pre-teen!
