I am a native Michigander and love all things Michigan! Growing up I had a strong love of animals, especially horses. I was fortunate enough to start riding at 12 years old and I haven't stopped since then. I spent the majority of my teen and young adult summers working at Black River Farm and Ranch as a Camp Counselor, Program Director, Sr. Program Director and Program Coordinator. Black River is a summer residential horseback riding camp. I was able to give an amazing horse filled summer to girls 7-15 and mentor the staff that worked with me.
In my adult years, I now focus on being an advocate for animal rights. I am a huge supporter of adopting your furry friend and have two rescues myself! My goals for the future are to foster animals in need of a loving home and to continue to be active in the fight towards eliminating animal cruelty .
I also support the Alzheimer's Association. Alzheimer's runs in my family and I have watched love ones be effected by it. I support this organization by donations and volunteering my time to bring awareness to this nonprofit.
I found my career passion back in 2016 and have loved going into work every single day since then! I am a Recruiter for a fortune 100 company and the best part of my job is helping people achieve their career dreams. Everyday, I get to talk to people from all walks of life, listen to their goals and help place them in a career they'll thrive in!
When I'm not at work you can usually find me reading, spending as much time as I can with my two fur babies, being an advocate in my community and planning my next travel adventure!
