My name is Kimberly Seetaram. I am 19 years of age and was born on May 28th, 2001, in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago. I started high school at 2013 and finished in 2018. During my years at Valencia High School I got six (6) CXC passes including: Mathematics, English, Information Technology, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. During my 5 years of school I was the secretary of the Environmental Management Authority Club (EMA) and entered a Bp Trinidad and Tobago debate competition about “Pollution in water channels” and received a gold plaque for being the most promising speaker. I also entered a Land Settlement Agency (LSA) debate and got a certificate. In my last year of secondary school, I participated in a Diwali Queen competition and came first place.
I also attended Sangre Grande Education Institute to write Principles of Business (POB). While attending evening classes, I applied for a job between the years of 2017-2018. I worked at a Pet Shop for some months to get experience and also worked at Maraj Budget Price Supermarket, but had to stop because of exams.
On leaving high school I got a part time job as a Sales Representative at Shoe Locker for the August vacation in 2018, to help pay for my studies at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, in order to obtain my Diploma in Animal Health Production and Veterinary Public Health. The diploma takes maximum of two (2) years to complete, I started University on the 5th September 2019 and I am currently on my final year for the completion of my diploma.
After completing my diploma in 2021, my goal is to go to the University of the West Indies to further my studies and gain my degree in Veterinary Science.
In the year 2018 I completed four different courses including, Floral making and arranging, Bridal classes, Balloon decoration and also did a course in Basic Makeup.
On the 4th of June 2020 I was informed about the Miss India Trinidad and Tobago Beauty Pageant and I decided that I would gave it a try, because one of my passions are to share my physical and altruistic beauty world-wide and to gain more self- esteem. I also have a strong passion for animals and being able to help them in any way possible because they can’t help themselves. It’s something I feel that I can help make a difference with.
My future plans are to work as an assistant Vet, to gain experience and open my own business. My dream is to travel around the world to learn different cultures. I also plan to build an animal shelter, and I would also like to support homeless children and families as much as I can and give them a future they deserve.
I believe that I can make a difference in this life. We cannot always do great things, but small things can be done with great love. I want to be an inspiration to others, to leave my foot print behind so people would remember that anyone can share kindness whether it be with humans or animals, and that beauty is not only what’s outside, it’s what comes from within.
