Representing the royal city of Guelph Ontario, Jasmine Herrera is the youngest of three children. Her parents came from El Salvador during the civil war and have always emphasized the importance of hard work and prioritizing education. At the age of 19 Jasmine graduated college and has been working and loving her career as a certified dental assistant. She has always had a compassionate heart and will to helping those less fortunate. She discovered a passion for fundraising and community service through her participation in pageants. Jasmine speaks fluent Spanish and has great interest in learning new languages and gaining knowledge of varying cultures. She hopes to shed light on the importance of speaking about mental health awareness and to inspire others to reach their goals. After surviving a near fatal car accident this past year, this near death experience changed Jasmine’s life for the better. Since the event, she has an increased interest in spirituality and more of an appreciation for the ordinary things in life we often take for granted. Jasmine’s public speaking, modeling, education, ambition and determination compliments her experiences as Miss Teen Wellington County-World 2013, and Miss Earth Ontario 2016. Jasmine is dedicated and strong willed every day to make her dream of having her own pageant agency reality.
