After graduating, Náder attended the University of Los Andes located in Bogotá, Colombia where she studied law. She then worked as a lawyer for Microsoft Colombia and also worked as a law professor at the University of Los Andes.
In 2009, her modeling career took off when she was chosen as the Revelation model of the Cali expo-show. Since then, she has appeared in multiple print ads and walked numerous runaways across the country.
In 2018, Náder was appointed Miss Valle by the Beauty Committee of Valle del Cauca, Combelleza.
According to Andrea Velez, executive director of Combelleza, "for this year our goal is not only to send to Cartagena a beautiful representative of great personality that can bring us the title of Miss Colombia, but also align with the austerity policy of the National Competition of beauty. Because of this, Combelleza decided to choose the queen by direct appointment and not by competition, since we see in Gabriela Tafur Náder an empowered woman who represents the beauty and values of Valle del Cauca women."
Later that year, Náder competed in the 2019 Miss Colombia pageant. She was crowned Miss Colombia 2019 on November 12, 2018 at the Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala Convention Center located in Cartagena, Colombia. She also won the Miss Punctuality award.
Náder will go on to compete for the title of Miss Universe 2019.
She also competed at Miss Universe 2019 for the opportunity to represent the Miss Universe organization. During the Miss Universe 2019, she placed in the Top 5.
