Delaney’s post-secondary education plans are to attend nursing school where she can care for people in need and leave a lasting impression on those she comes in contact with.
Delaney’s love for pageantry began at the young age of five. Over the last ten years she has held several local titles, including Little, Pre-Teen & Jr. Miss Mapleton, Little Miss Maine Potato Queen, Miss Vacationland Jr. Teen and Northeast Maine Jr. Teen. Delaney is the reigning USA National Miss Maine Jr. Teen and will compete for the national title in July 2018. Delaney is a peer ambassador and champion for The Crown C.A.R.E.S. (Creating a Respectful Environment in Schools), an anti-bullying platform. She encourages unity and inclusion amongst her peers and enjoys being a role model to young girls and speaking to schools and young children about the dangers of bullying.
Delaney is an active member of her community. She volunteers several hours a month at local organizations including Wintergreen Arts Center, where she spends a great deal of time with family and friends. She prides herself on giving back to the community that gives so much to her.
Delaney loves modeling and being in front of the camera.
She resides at home with her parents, Chris and Wendy, brothers Dustin and Dyllan and her two miniature dachshunds, Remmy and Marley.
