Why start competing in pageants

I am new to pageantry! I started competing in pageants to promote my platform of mental health awareness. Currently, 1 in 5 adult Americans have experienced depression, anxiety, or some other mental health issue. Only 54% of Americans seek help. This needs to change! With more awareness and less stigma, more individuals will seek help and make mental health a priority! Pageantry will help me effectively spread this message.
