My journey began 15 years ago at the age of 5 when my mom realized how much I loved to be on stage. My mom entered me in my first pageant and the rest is history. Pageantry has taught me that where you come from doesn't have to effect where you are going. I wasn't the "popular girl" as a kid and pageants were an easy outlet for me to make friends and be myself. I not only have made friendships that have lasted forever but I've learned the importance of serving and giving back to my community. Growing up in Memphis Tn. there is always a need for service and community involvement. I enjoy speaking with the youth of Memphis about how important it is to be confident in who they are as individuals. I also enjoy volunteering as a dog walker with the Shelby County Humane Society.
