I am currently transferring from the University of Oklahoma to Texas A&M University.
When I was about to start high school, my voice teacher told me that I reminded her of herself when she was younger and said that she could see me competing in pageants. That summer, she inspired me to compete in the state pageant for National American Miss. Through that pageant, I strengthened my communication skills and became more confident as an individual. I won 4th Runner-Up in the talent portion, where I sang “Someone to Watch Over Me”. Though I did not win the overall pageant, being in National American Miss made me more interested in the pageant world.
I enjoy learning foreign languages and learning about cultures in other countries.
