Brittney was born in rural Saskatchewan but spent her formative years in Edmonton, Alberta. After high school graduation she began modeling professionally. Modeling has had a very positive impact on Brittney’s life. In particular, she is grateful for the opportunities it has afforded her to travel, explore new cultures and most significant to her, meet and build relationships with unique and interesting people from all walks of life.
Brittney was fortunate to become involved with Habitat for Humanity during her secondary studies which lead to a passion for volunteering. In particular she enjoys projects that impact individuals directly, be it building homes for low income families or spending time working with seniors at Loewen’s care home. These heart-warming experiences, the leadership and interpersonal skills she’s gained through them, lead to her decision to pursue a career as a registered nurse.
This pageant is Brittney’s first and she is excited as always for the experiences and opportunities that come from trying something new. She sees Miss Universe Canada as a platform which would allow her to be a role model to women and children. She would be honoured to represent Canadian values at the Miss Universe Pageant.
