Bianca Xoyamayagua-Galvan…is an Austinite and proud to serve the community as an Event Coordinator for the City of Austin. Bianca loves all things events and turns every occasion into a special celebration for family and friends! She is a regular at Austin festivals for new experiences and fun with family & friends.
Bianca believes in giving of her time and talents through volunteer work. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels of Central Texas, is a Board Member with Austin Sister Cities International and is an advocate for mentoring since she began mentoring elementary age students in college. Bianca is the Department Coordinator for the City of Austin Volunteer Program, a Mentor through Austin Partners in Education and in 2018 Bianca and her 5th grade mentee won the Austin Independent School District “Mentoring Matters” Poster Contest which highlights the value of mentoring.
She also regularly joins new volunteer opportunities and brings her kids to instill the importance of service to others. In 2019 it was an honor to receive the Gold President's Volunteer Service Award.
Bianca’s children are ages 5, 7, and 18 and she has been happily married to her husband for 9 years.
In January 2020, Bianca looks forward to representing Mrs. Austin in the Texas United America Pageant in Georgetown Texas.
