Cameron is originally from Tampa, Florida. She moved to Jennings, Florida, when she was 12-years-old. She attended Hamilton County High School where she graduated at the top of her class in 2012.
Cameron then attended the University of Miami were she graduated magna cum laude in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Theatre Arts.
Growing up, Cameron did not have much interest in pageants. However, that changed in eighth grade when her entire class was called into an assembly. Miss Florida 2007, Kylie Williams, an alumna of the high school, was there to speak to the students about her journey to the Miss Florida crown and experience at Miss America.
Inspired by Williams’ story, Cameron entered her first pageant, Miss HCHS, later that year. She placed as first runner-up and was named Miss Congeniality. Cameron was hooked and has been competing ever since.
Cameron has competed in multiple systems and pageants throughout Florida including local school and community pageants, the Miss U.S. National Forestry Pageant, the Miss Nationwide Organization, the Miss America Organization and, most recently, Citrus International Model and Talent Search.
While Cameron has held multiple titles throughout her years of competing, some of her most notable include Miss Miami-Dade Nationwide 2015, Miss Florida Forestry Hospitality 2016, Miss Florida Teen Dream USA 2016 and Miss Fort Lauderdale Citrus 2018. Cameron has also served as a judge and emcee.
