Billings is a native of Woodward, Oklahoma. She currently attended Woodward High School located in Woodward, Oklahoma. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average her entire academic career and on track to graduate as Valedictorian of her class.
Billings is also active outside of the classroom. She is President of the Key Club, Treasurer of the National Honor Society, Treasurer of her Senior Class and Co-Captain of the Boomer Dance Team. She is also enjoys volunteering with The Salvation Army, Oklahoma Missions of Mercy, the Children’s Miracle Network Foundation, The American Red Cross and The Special Olympics.
Billings platform is inspired by her late grandfather who passed away from malignant melanoma. After his passing, she began focusing her efforts on the purpose of educating others about sun safety. She has spoken to thousands of students, various community groups and city park officials with the focus of “Living SunSmart.”
Billings is the National Spokesperson for the Live SunSmart Foundation and is instilling her own curriculum on an international scale with several major skincare companies. She has taken her efforts to the legislature, as she was instrumental in helping pass the Oklahoma law which prohibits minors from using tanning beds.
Billings first started her pageant journey in 2014. She was crowned Miss Northwest Teen 2014, a local pageant in Oklahoma.
Billings then joined the Miss America Organization. She won the title of Miss Northwestern’s Outstanding Teen 2015. The win qualified her to compete at the 2015 Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen pageant. While she did not take home take home the crown, the friendships she formed, along with the scholarship opportunities available, encouraged her to continue competing.
Billings returned to the Miss Oklahoma Outstanding Teen system the next year. She won the title of Miss Northwest Passage’s Outstanding Teen 2016. She then competed in the 2016 Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen pageant. She did not take home the crown but was determined to come back stronger than ever.
Billings returned the next year and won the title of Miss Northwest Oklahoma City’s Outstanding Teen 2017. She then competed at the 2017 Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen pageant. This time, she not only made the semifinals, she cracked the Top 5. Billings was named second runner-up to Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen 2017, Evelyn Smith.
Encouraged by her strong performance, Billings returned for her last year in the Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen system. She won the title of Miss Piedmont’s Outstanding Teen 2018. Billings then went on to compete at the 2018 Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen pageant. There, she placed in the Top 12, won a Preliminary Active Wear Award as well as the Scholastic Achievement Award.
After aging out of Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen, Billings then registered for the 2019 Miss Oklahoma USA and Miss Oklahoma Teen USA pageant where she represented her hometown of Woodward. On October 21, 2018, Billings won her first state title. She was crowned Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2019 at the Grand Casino Hotel Resort located in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She also won the Overall Interview Award.
Billings will go on to compete for the title of Miss Teen USA 2019.
