After my year as Miss Nebraska, I remember sitting down and intensely pondering over my year. A recurring thought in my mind was how although I was extremely grateful for my success thus far, I wish I had given myself my BEST chance at Miss America by having a streamlined system for the most important phases of competition: interview, and OSQ prep.
Shortly after, Powerhouse Pageantry was born, and it’s been the most amazing journey. For 4 years now, I’ve spent countless hours researching, testing, and perfecting the systems that we use every day with our Powerhouse clients that help to develop them in the 5 key areas of life: Spiritual, Physical, Emotional/Mental, Relational, and Financial. Without pursuing development from all of these angles, the Personal Interview and On Stage Question portions of a pageant competition suffer.
But when they ARE engaged, it’s the most incredible experience to see life breathed back into the amazing young women I get to work with every single day, and I consider it a humongous privilege. Guiding these women through their own personal stories, helping them to deal with their pasts, and really building a dream for their futures extends to a victory far beyond the pageant. That’s why I named our company “Powerhouse” Pageantry... because every woman we work with most definitely is just that, a Powerhouse.
