A long-standing tradition of the Rose of New England’s history has been re-imagined and will make its debut at this summer's festival. Today's Rose Court Competition is open to all genders while honoring tradition by demanding that candidates exemplify pride in Norwich, community involvement, intellect, and leadership. The winner of the Rose Court Competition will represent the City of Norwich at city events.
The Rose Court Competition has phases of competition that include: submission of an essay on community pride, private interview, on-stage question, and evening gown. The competition will be judged by a mix of past winners, and prominent figures of the community.
In order to compete for a Rose Court title, you must live in within 15 miles of Norwich, Connecticut and be between the ages of 16 - 20.
