Director Teri produces winners and opportunities for young girls and women to excel in all aspects of pageantry and their lives. My cousin was a first timer Pageant girl and had the time of her life under Director Teri's leadership. She produces top notch pageant events and an environment that is fun, family friendly with a focus on sisterhood. She’s a blessing to so many. Director Teri gives the very best of herself and is most deserving of greater opportunities in this industry.
As the judges coordinator I was totally impressed with the professionalism and production of the pageant. The judges were very professional and knowledgeable about pageants, as many of them were former queens. The judges were also pleasant and attentive when receiving their instructions. The pageant director, Teri Brown-Walker did not miss a beat when it came to making sure all details were covered and everyone knew their roles. She was organized and made sure everyone was on task. In addition, the contestants seemed to be enjoying the experience as they scurried around preparing for the stage with excitement! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would be more than happy to work with Teri if she needs me again.
I started working with Director Teri in 2017 when she directed Mrs. Maryland United States. She saw something in me and encourage me to compete. I did not win the crown but she remain in constant contact with me. She has always been very helpful and professional and even gave me career advice. I really love that she cares about her titleholders and support them as much as possible. Great organizational skills and very experienced with pageant production as well. I recommend Director Teri as pageant Director.
I have had the pleasure of judging one of Teri Brown-Walker's pageants. Her passion for pageantry and her commitment is second to none. Having watched her production first hand, she is most professional about all aspects of pageantry. That professionalism is exhibited in how she prepares the contestants and in how she plans and executes the event. I highly recommend Teri.
Many people get excited about a pageant system because of the success of that titleholder. It is rare that you will find a pageant contestant joining a pageant system just to have the opportunity to be one of "Teri's Queens" once you become one of Mrs. Teri's queens, you are one of her queens for life!! She always encourages you to try other systems but you will always want to come back to her because of the way she treats her titleholders. Mrs. Teri is an amazing director I will follow her anywhere!
This state director and pageant is the best of the best! You won't want another experience after doing a pageant with Teri. Not only is she organized and stays on her queens to be organized, but she loves all her girls like their her own and pageant moms you all the way to nationals. She's brought home numerous national titles and I don't expect anything less in the near future. Thanks for showing your girls the care, leadership, love and dedication that every queen deserves from their team on their pageant journey. You deserve all the stars in the sky because you've help me reach for every single one of them!!! Love you for ever Teri!!!
Teri Brown-Walker is a wonderful pageant Director because she's caring and loves pageantry! I’ve listened, watched and assisted in the preparation of events and her desire is for all the Queens’ to enjoy themselves and grow from the experience. Teri displays a never-ending passion to assist the young girls, teens and women with their vision of winning! Her personality and extreme work ethic helps to develop some of the best Queens, along with her professional career and natural abilities.
Teri Brown-Walker is the best Pageant Director in the US. She is dedicated and talented and cares more than anyone about the organization and the girls!
I have known Teri for years and happy to see her live out her passion through pageantry. She gives 100% of herself to her titleholders and pushes them to be the best version of themselves. It doesn't get any better than Teri and I highly recommend her.
Working with Terri is a very positive experience. Her pageants are very organized and run according to a tight detailed schedule. She has sufficient staff members to assist in running the event and answering contestant questions. I highly recommend Terri as a director.
Since the moment I became Miss Pennsylvania Earth USA, Teri has been nothing but dedicated, and passionate when it comes to our pageant family. She proved her dedicated when she drove over 2 hours to assist me in my clothing drive. If you are looking for someone that is the epitome of devotion in the world of pageantry, Teri is that person! Thank you as always for all that you do! Sincerely, Shantae Taylor Miss Pennsylvania Earth 2020
I had the privilege of Judging a pageant in which Teri directed. Teri is an amazing person! Her leadership and demand for excellence is remarkable! Teri is truly passionate about what she does. It is evident by her ability to motivate and encourage others, her high level of compassion, and her demand for excellence!
Mrs. Terry Brown-Walker is a wonderful director. She is dedicated to her state and to her titleholders. I highly recommend anyone interested in pageants compete under her. She cares about the contestants but most importantly she runs a fair pageant.
Director Terri is the absolute BEST! I competed in my very first pageant 2 years ago under her and did not win. I felt really bad and decided pageantry wasn't for me. She pulled me aside after the pageant and asked me to call her in 1 week. She said that she knew I wasn't going to be interested in speaking with her at that moment and that I was going to be salty and the loss was going to sting for a little while. She was right, I really didn't want to speak with her and waited 2 weeks to finally call her. When I finally called her I was very defensive. She could sense I had an attitude and told me I wasn't ready to receive her feedback yet, that she could hear it in my voice and to take whatever time I needed and to call me when I was ready. I thought to myself how dare she tell me how she thought I was feeling but she was right and I didn't call her for 2 months. During that time frame, she sent me a weekly encouraging text and let me know she was still here when I was ready to talk. When I finally called her back, she was excited to hear from me and asked me if I thought I did my very best at the pageant. I responded yes, she then asked me if I had a good time, if the other contestants were nice and then asked besides winning the crown, what could she have done to make my experience better. I told her I had a great time. She then asked me what would I have done to promote my title and why did I think I should have won. She then asked about my preparation, I couldn't answer any of her questions. She then sent me a few short clips of my evening and swimsuit walk and gave me some recommendations on what I should work on. She then told me that she would love for me to try again but to also try other systems to see what pageant system is a best fit for me. I took her advice and tried 2 other systems and had the worst experience of my life. Those directors clearly didn't care about their contestants. Ms. Terri - thank you for taking the time to help me, you set the bar high for how to treat contestants. I will not go to any other pageant system that you are not directing.
Incredible pageant director who cares about her contestants and titleholders. Director Teri is a hands on director that makes time for every girl. You can call on her anytime.
Of course I have nothing but great things to say about my mom. You are absolutely correct in what you say about her and I am happy to read and hear all of the wonderful comments people say about my mom. Her hard work, dedication and love for pageantry is finally paying off. You have no idea the countless sleepless nights she spends branding, coaching, counseling and just being there for her queens. You all are truly lucky to have such a great woman behind the scenes supporting you, she truly is one of your biggest fans. I know firsthand what it feels like to have the wonderful support of a woman like my mom.
Even during a worldwide pandemic, state director, Teri Brown-Walker had (3) backup plans in the event she was unable to produce a live show. While the April pageant ended up being on line, the event was well organized. As the aunt of one of the contestant, it was comforting to know that Teri put all of the girl’s best interest and safety first. Even though my niece did not win the title, Director Teri sent her a package that included a t-shirt, personalize note thanking her, gift bag and award. She did not have to do that. This was my niece second pageant and our experience with Director Teri was by far better than the last system we were affiliated with. I highly, highly working with Director Teri.
I have watched Teri grow in pageantry since the crowning of her first titleholder in 2016. It didn't take her long to assimilate. Now 4 years in, 1 international winner, 4 national winners, 2 national costume winners and multiple top 10 placements of her titleholders, Teri is a force to be reckoned with.
Teri is incredibly kind, sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! This is my very first pageant and she has helped me every step of the way, guided me towards answers and helped me located so many items I will need for nationals. I would not have gotten as far as I have without her incredible help!
Teri is the best! She is caring and runs a fair system!
Working with Director Teri is like being adopted into a family. When you become one of Teri's dream queens team members, you are one of her queens for LIFE! It's been 2 years since I last worked with Mrs. Teri and she still texts me on my birthday and check up on me to see how I am doing. She supports and encourages all her queens to try other pageant systems but it really isn't the same and you eventually try to come back under her leadership. I was a local teen title holder Miss Teen Baltimore United States 2018. Even though I didn't win the state title, I felt like I won the lottery working with Mrs. Teri because she always included me at photoshoots and appearances with the state titleholders. She really cares about her queens and their success. I would follow her anywhere!
