About Mr. U.S. United Pageant

Greetings! Welcome to the Northeast Region U.S. United Pageant! This preliminary
pageant is for young ladies and women who live, work, go to school or have property in
the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, District of
Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and New York, This is a Pageant with a Purpose. A
portion of the proceeds from the pageant will be donated to breast cancer awareness
through the Susan G. Komen and Sisters By Choice organizations. We will be honoring
females, ages 10 and older for their personal, professional, and community
achievements.
We will also recognize little girls ages 4-9 for their interest in pageantry. Our pageant
will showcase each contestant on her own merits and personality. We focus on the
individual inner beauty of each contestant, as well as her individual achievements,
community involvement and personal strengths and talents. We do not believe in
comparison judging. The 2021 Northeast U.S. United Pageant will take place Saturday,
March 27, 2021 in Camp Hill, PA. at the beautiful Raddisson Hotel Harrisburg. Winners from this pageant will advance to the U.S. United national pageant which will be held in
July 15-18, 2021 in Atlanta, GA.
Please read the following information in its entirety. Do not hesitate to contact me if you
have any questions.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
The pageant's entry deadline is February 1, 2021. This is when all applications and
paperwork must be turned into the Pageant Office. If you know someone that would like
to compete, please urge them to go ahead and submit their application.
ALL FEES MUST BE paid in full by March 1, 2021.
FEE PAYMENT:
Your Pageant fee is as follows:
$25.00 (non-refundable) Registration fee
$200.00(non-refundable pageant fee)
Total fee is $225.
Your state fee includes:
Local city crown
Local city sash
Sash pin
Entry into the 2021 Northeast Region U.S. United Pageant
All State pageant paperwork
You may pay your fees through PayPal. The PayPal address is
legacypageantsus@gmail,com or through Cash App@ $Marchia1.
You will have the option of personally paying your pageant fee OR asking family and
friends to place an ad in our program book. All ad purchases will be credited toward
your pageant fee. Ads will be in full color.
Full page ad =$75
Half page ad =$40
1/4 page=$25
QUEEN’S CONTRACT
Each divisional winner will sign a Queen’s Contract. This contract spells out in detail
what is expected of you. All winners ages 10 and older are required to compete in
the national pageant in July 2021 in Atlanta.
FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN RELINGUISHMENT OF STATE TITLE.
STATE SASH, CROWN, AND TROPHY MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME
CONDITION IT WAS PRESENTED. A $350 FINE WILL ALSO INCUR AND WILL BE
PAID TO THE NATIONAL OFFICE.
Competition Wardrobe and Judging Guidelines
Opening Number
Blue Jeans and White Long Sleeve Blouse
Personal Interview – 40%
Contestants should wear a business suit or business dress. You should look as though
you are going to a job interview or making an appearance. Please be mindful of the
length of your skirt. You be will judged on your oral communication skills, confidence,
poise, charisma, projection of personality and sincerity of your answers.
Outfit of Choice – 30%
This is an outfit of choice that best reflects your personality. Should you choose to wear
a hat, PLEASE be sure your full face is visible to the judges at all times. You will be
judged on poise, personality, charisma, overall presentation, and confidence. Have fun,
let your personality shine! This outfit SHOULD NOT be an evening gown; however, you
may wear a dress with a high/low hemline.
Evening Gown – 30%
Contestants should wear a floor length gown. The price of the gown is not important.
You will be judged on poise, grace/elegance, overall presentation, eye contact, and
confidence while on stage. Be sure your gown fits you well and is not too tight, too long
or too short. Make sure it compliments your figure and is age appropriate.
Other Clothing Needed
Comfortable clothes for rehearsal.
Wardrobe for photo shoot (optional)
All outfits and shoes must be age appropriate
Optional Competitions
Scores from optional competitions have no bearing on the division winner. Contestants
are not required to enter the optional competitions
Optional Competition Fees are due by March 5, 2021

Talent Competition (optional $20.00 fee)
The Talent Competition is an optional competition and does not affect the overall
outcome of the pageant. You will need to have your Talent Entry form & Entry Fee to
the Office by February 1, 2021. We need this information ahead of time because these
names need to be added to the computer score sheet. Talent must not be longer than 3
minutes. Music, if applicable, should be emailed or texted to the Director.
Photogenic Competition (optional $20.00 fee)
Contestants in this competition should submit no more than 2 photographs. You should
bring them with you and turn in at registration. Please be sure you pick them up before
the pageant. Photos will not be mailed. Photographs should be at least a 4 X 6 and no
larger than an 8 X 10 and may be either in color or black and white. Photos should be
professional and not a snapshot. Photos CANNOT be older than three years.
Community Service Scrapbook (optional $20.00 fee)
You should bring your scrapbook with you. Please be sure to pick this up after the
pageant. Your scrapbook should showcase your activities in your community and
should be arranged by the most recent activities first.
People’s Choice
People’s Choice voting will be conducted online and will open 3 weeks before the day of
the pageant. The People’s Choice winner is based on the contestant that brings in the
most money in ads, and online voting votes above and beyond her state pageant fee of
$225. The People’s Choice winner will receive a trophy, sash, tiara, and complimentary
entry into the national pageant.
Portfolio ($20)
Contestants who enter this competition will present a modeling portfolio of 5-10
photographs.
Young Woman/Woman of Style ($20.00 fee)
Contestants who enter this competition will model an outfit of her choice. Judges will be
looking for a young woman/woman with style, poise, modeling ability, choice of outfit.
U.S. United Scholar (no fee)
Contestant who enter this competition will submit an official school transcript and a short
essay on why she feels she should receive this award.
Cover Girl ($25.00 fee)
Contestant who enter this competition will submit up to 2 photos to be judged. Winner
will have her photo printed on the state program book cover. Photo(s) must be received
in the national office no later than March 1, 2021.

THE U.S. UNITED PAGEANT SYSTEM. WINNERS WILL ADVANCE TO THE
NATIONAL PAGEANT. THIS IS NOT AN OPTION. WINNERS WHO DO NOT
ADVANCE WILL HAVE THEIR TITLE REVOKED AND STATE SASH, CROWN, AND
TROPHY MUST BE RETURNED TO THE STATE OFFICE. A $350 FINE WILL
INCUR.
IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW YOUR BUDGET. WINNING A STATE TITLE
AND SAYING YOU DON’T HAVE THE MONEY TO COMPETE AT NATIONALS IS
NOT AN OPTION.
