About New York and New Jersey Perfect Pageants
New York’s / New Jersey’s Perfect Model Search is designed for all young women, (ages 8-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29 and 30 and beyond) across the United States who love the stage and want to hold a state title and carry this new found celebrity status to a professional modeling or acting career. New York’s / New Jersey’s Perfect Model Search is an outlet for you to achieve success and realize your dreams!
The system is in search of beautiful, articulate young ladies who turn heads in a crowded room, maybe for her beauty, articulation, style, dedication to community service, humor, talent, or that indescribable “it” factor. New York’s / New Jersey’s Perfect Model Search is looking for Beauty, Communication Skills, and Grace. It is that simple, are you New York’s or New Jersey’s Perfect PreTeen, Junior Teen, Teen, Miss or Woman?
The system welcomes young ladies who have competed in all major systems. The State Director has worked with every major system and values each mission. What sets New York’s / New Jersey’s Perfect Model Search apart from the others? We allow the individual to create her reign, whether it be beauty driven, community service, talent, spokesperson, or print/runway…
Like the Olympics, each contestant will receive a score from 1-10 in each of three categories. Each category accounts for 1/3 of each contestant's total score. The areas of competition are the following:
• Fashion Walk: The interview will be Red Carpet Style. You will give us 2 topics you would like to discuss. You can wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable. You can wear an outfit that compliments the topics you have selected for your interview. Some ideas are; jeans, skirts, cocktail dresses, Just keep in mind that you will be standing for the interview.
• Swimsuit: Easy enough. One piece, two piece, solid, print, wraps are allowed, any shoe, sandal, heel, or flip flop is allowed. Be modern, hip, current, fun, remember, YOU define perfection.
• Summer Fashion: Summer Fashion replaces swimwear for Pre-Teen & Woman only. These two divisions will WOW us with their sense of style. Summer dresses, shorts, skirts and denims. Fun, Flirty, Soft & Pretty are what describes this phase of competition.
• Evening Gown: A long (floor length) evening gown. The color, style, design, designer, is up to you! Allow the judges the chance to see your personality. Make it your perfect moment on stage.
