About Miss Randolph County/Miss Randolph County's Outstanding Teen
The Miss Randolph County Scholarship Pageant and Randolph County Outstanding Teen are preliminary pageants to the North Carolina Scholarship Pageant and ultimately to Miss America. Miss Randolph County Scholarship Pageant and Randolph County Outstanding Teen Pageant will soon be crowning another set of queens in October. Any young woman between the ages of 17 and 24, who lives, goes to school or works in Randolph, Guilford, Alamance, Chatham, Moore, Montgomery or Davidson County is eligible to participate in the Miss Randolph County Competition. Any young woman 13 and 17, living anywhere in NC that can commit to the duties, is eligible to participate in the Miss Randolph County Outstanding Teen competition.
Contestants in the event will compete in categories of Interview, Lifestyle and Fitness, Talent, Evening Wear, Social Impact and On-Stage Question which will give them an opportunity to express their own interests in social, community service or vocational matters. Crowns, Sashes, gifts and scholarships will be awarded to the winners.
The winner of the Miss Randolph County and the Randolph County Outstanding Teen will then represent Randolph County in the Miss North Carolina Pageant held in June, in Raleigh, NC.

The Miss Randolph County competition provides a one-time $1,000 scholarship to Miss Randolph County and a $500 scholarship to the Miss Randolph County Outstanding Teen for use at her institution of choice. Your support will ensure the continuation and growth of educational awards to these talented and deserving young women. Please consider joining the Miss Randolph County Scholarship competition family as a sponsor.

The Kiwanis Club of Asheboro is the local non-profit organization overseeing the pageants. Miss Randolph County is affiliated with the Miss America organization, which is the largest scholarship program for women in America. The Miss Randolph County Scholarship Pageant Organization will provide scholarships to young women in search of a better education and also provides them with a way to promote the Children's Miracle Network and their own personal platforms.
