About Miss Laurens County/Miss Laurens County Outstanding Teen
Miss Laurens County Pageant is a preliminary pageant for the Miss South Carolina Pageant, a part of the Miss America Organization.
After two decades of sabbatical of the Miss Laurens County Pageant, it made a return in 2009 and was back in full force! In 2009, Miss Laurens County, Tiona Lee was a top-ten finalist and swimsuit preliminary winner. Miss Laurens County Teen 2009, Ali Rogers was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2009 and received talent preliminary winner and overall talent winner.
In 2010, our girls reigned supreme once again. Miss Laurens County, Deja Frederick, was First Runner Up as well as evening gown and swimsuit preliminary winner. Miss Laurens County Teen, Leah Lawson, received the Teen Overall Community Service Scholarship!
2012 was another successful year. Miss Laurens County, Ali Rogers, was crowned Miss South Carolina 2012 and will compete in the Miss America pageant in January 2013. Bry Atchison, Miss Laurens County Teen 2012, was a Top Ten Finalist in the Miss South Carolina Teen pageant.
