About Miss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley

Miss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley is an official preliminary pageant to the Miss Alabama and Miss Alabama Outstanding Teen state pageants. Each year, four winners are chosen to represent the local system at Miss Alabama and Miss Alabama Outstanding Teen pageants. They also receive the opportunity to represent the Miss America Organization throughout their home regions for the duration of their reign as well as a prize package selected by theMiss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley directors.

All contestants for Miss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley must participate in four areas of competition: private panel interview with the judges, Talent, evening gown and onstage question. Women who live in Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley and who are older than 17 years of age and younger than 28 years of age are eligible to compete in Miss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley. Additionally, contestants must never have been married or given birth to a child.

All contestants for Miss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley's Outstanding Teen must participate in five areas of competition: private panel interview with the judges, fitness wear, evening gown, Talent, and onstage question. If you live in Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley and are between the ages of 14 and 17, you may be eligible to compete for Miss Birmingham and Miss Cahaba Valley's Outstanding Teen.
