Founded by Chris & Shayla Montgomery in 2014, Believe Pageant Consulting has been built to suit their clients from beginners to experienced. Chris has been instrumental in building character and success in youth for over 20 years from sports to church youth groups. A public speaker and photographer Chris has a way of communicating with kids to help them understand while having fun learning. Shayla's competitive nature and accomplishments in pageantry helps her relate to her girls with her recent pageant experiences. Believe Consulting's team of consultants has expertise in all areas of pageantry including interview, introduction, public speaking, gown walk presentation as well as apparel selection. They Believe every girl has her gifts and build upon that foundation. Believe Consulting's fees are very reasonable in comparison to today's coaching standards. They feel that every family should be able to have a great service without being priced out of coaching. Believe Consulting's slogans are "we are a family" and "we believe in you" which showcases the purpose of their work.
Believe Consulting is a family run pageant consulting business. Every member of the Mongomery household is involved in one aspect or another of the business. If you are looking for beginning stage presence you will be working with Chris the founder, if you are looking for advanced interview skills you will be working with national title holder Shayla, if you are looking for expert hair and makeup you will be working with Krystal, and lastly if your head is spinning from all the pageant commitments, rules, and cost you will receive the most amazing advise from Sheila followed by the most genuine hug. This family truly lives and breaths pageantry but even more than that, they live and breath people. You are family the moment you walk in the door. When I think of the Believe Consulting’s coaching philosophy words like kindness, honesty, integrity, and family come to mind. The coaches working for Believe Consulting are not afraid to deliver the hard truths but do it in such a way that is productive and inspiring to their clients. They always find a way to be uplifting but never ask/or expect the client to participate in pageants that are beyond their current skill or financial level. Coming from a sports background I have never understood why in the pageant world the coach that you have paid hundreds of dollars to, to train your child does not show up for the final competition. This is not the case with Believe Consulting. Once you sign up with Chris and his team they are with your child from start to finish. Offering not only words of encouragement to your child, reviewing training, photography, system knowledge, and always keeping the client and family abreast of any schedule or pageant changes throughout the weekend. They truly are full service. With Believe Consulting there is no “up sell.” They work to make every one of your hard earned dollars count in their training. They charge a more than fair price for their services and many times such as pageant weekend will continue to counsel and motivate your child at no additional cost. Not to mention the hundreds of photographs Believe Photography takes during the pageant and post at no additional charge to you.
Believe Pageant Consulting is very family oriented, and professional. They are not like a business they are very personal. And make sure you are ready for that stage! They BELIEVE in you! We love their whole family! You also gain friendships inside of the Believe pageant Consultant Family! They give you Quality over Quanity, providing you with excellent service. They have lots of knowledge and educate you with pageantry starting from the process of starting the pageant to what to do during pageant weekend. They always make sure that their client is ready, with calls, texts messages, FaceTimes, etc. all pageant weekend! With the help of Believe Pageant Consulting my daughter has placed 1st in the Jr. teen division at 13 years old, 2nd runner up, winner of casual wear modeling, and helped her achieve her goal of winning the Miss East Coast Preteen Title! We love Believe Pageant Consulting! June Chambers Mother of 2018 Miss East Coast Preteen Chelsea Chambers.
My youngest daughter Rhionna has been working with Chris, Shayla and Kristen at Believe Consulting for just a few short months so far and the benefits and results were immediate. From her first session with Chris for Personal Interview training and her first session with Shayla for Stage Presence and Pageant Walk development, she has improved and grown. The positive but firm guidance of these proven coaches has helped Rhionna raise her performance levels right along with her confidence and self esteem. After winning her first local crown in February of this year and then capturing the Oregon state crown in her age division in March, we knew we needed some help to get her prepared for Nationals in July. We began weekly sessions with Chris via FaceTime for personal development and interview; as well as weekly sessions with Shayla in person in the studio for stage walking and modeling routines. Rhionna did really well for her first National Pageant thanks to Team Believe and brought home not only the National Countess crown but National Photogenic and National Back Cover Model awards as well in the Jr Teen age division. We can’t imagine continuing our pageant experiences without Believe Consulting guiding and supporting not only Rhionna as a contestant and client but all of us as a family and a team. This is why we Believe!
We have never worked with a coach before because I am very picky about my kids. Believe seems to have a family fun way of learning and a support group of parents that care about each other. In 2019 my husband and I have decided to work with Believe. We love that when we see believe consulting post they have more than just crowns, they have girls that are ambitious and reaching for thier goals as well. I've heard rumors about coaches picking favorites and thats why I love what believe is doing by promoting each and every girl that they work with. It tells me that they care about the girls and that's what matters to me when I trust someone with my child. We can't wait to get started with them.
