Close your eyes and imagine a pageant system that acknowledges women for their commitments to marriage, family values and community service – a place where women are judged not only for their outward beauty but more importantly for the beauty that lies within.
Now open your eyes, because this is not a dream. It exists right here in Maryland with the Mrs. Maryland International Pageant system. This pageant showcases the accomplishments of today’s married woman throughout the year.
Across the state of Maryland there are 15-20 contestants who are city or county title holders. Each of these women has a platform for which they share a passion. These service platforms are the personal choice of each contestant and include such causes as mentoring America's youth, domestic violence, breast and ovarian cancer, promoting healthy lifestyles and many other worthy causes that are near to the heart. Using the recognition of their local titles, they spend the year promoting their cause by getting involved with their communities and reaching out to those in need.
The Pre-Teen, Teen, Miss, and Mrs. International Organization empowers women and celebrates their accomplishments. Through our system, women find the opportunity to become positive role models by impacting real change in their communities with the potential to reach a global audience.
