Red continues to solidify itself as one of the premier pageant winning color choices. The power and confidence it exudes just can’t be matched.
Paired with her soft facial features and golden blonde hair, the overall look is well balanced. (Want to see another gorgeous blonde in red? Read: Miss US International 2015 Evening Gown: HIT or MISS?
This design makes for a long and lean figure thanks to a fitted bodice throughout. The simple tank straps sit right atop her shoulders and add even more inches of height to her line of sight.
The bandage layers create a horizontal stripe pattern with texture, yet isn't jarring due to the monochromatic style.
A subtle fishtail hem comprised of layers of flowing fabric is a nice contrast to the otherwise structured look of the gown.
The two most important details to note are the jeweled bodice and coordinating earrings.
The fact that the beading is localized to her bust-line elongates her torso even further.
Her earrings are a perfect match as they feature a combination of red and silver stones, which carry over from the multi-tonal adornments in the bust.
This evening gown was immensely popular in the beginning of the decade. It debuted during Kristen Dalton’s farewell as Miss USA and then was most notably seen on 4th Runner-Up to Miss America, Emoly West, and eventual Miss USA, Alyssa Campanella.
